Girls Night Out

so, last night I hung out with my girlfriend Naya. We went to see Sex In The City and to dinner. We had a blast! We were originally planning to go to a theatre in Tampa and grab dinner over there but I did not get off from work early enough. I got slammed with this report at the last minute and I had to figure it out and update it. I didn't leave work until about 6:20pm . I arrived at work at around 7:15 that morning and skipped lunch. I ate a grilled cheese sandwich at my desk while working. Needless to say, I was wiped out.

We met up at this new posh club called the Venue. We'd heard a lot about the place and wanted to check it out for dinner. The movie was to start at 7:50pm so we had some time to kill. We arrived at the Venue and was given a choice between the sushi bar or tapas bar. We decided on the tapas bar. We were, well I was, a little disappointed. I understand the whole concept of a tapas bar but I was just a little underwhelmed. Naya ordered a sushi dish that was available as a tapas and she ordered the fillet on a skewer with spinach. I ordered mussels and something else (can't remember). I also had the violet martini and Naya had a dirty martini (her signature drink these days). The place was really nice but for the price, I wanted more food and better flavor. Pincho Y Pincho puts them to shame!!!!!

After dinner we headed over to the movie theatre in dare I say, Pinellas Park. Lots of sketchy looking people in Pinellas Park....
Anyways, the movie was FABULOUS. I loved it. I laughed, and cried. Yes, I'm a sucker for romance and pretentiousness. The movie was all about love, sex, labels and fashion. The shoes were incredible. I can't wait for it to come out on video. It was so nice to see Carrie and Big get married finally after all these years. Oh how she loved him so. He loved her too. I know I'm ruining it for everyone.
