I saw this quote posted by someone in Natalie's medical school year book and loved it:I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason and intellect has inteneded us to forgo their use. Galileo
It made me think of the religious rights' attack on science.

If God had given us a brain, he would have expected us to use it. Uh ... whoops! God DID give us a brain, didn't he? Well, what do you know about that? By the way, the email about the poll of TFM's -- that was from my friend Keith -- who'd gotten it from his friend -- who was formerly Keith's minister!
