my favorite summer drink
I'm about to go out and indulge myself with an iced coffee from Dunken Doughnuts with cream & sugar added. I don't usually get doughnuts but if I do, I get the ones with strawberry icing. The coconut cake ones are good too. John turned me on to those.

Having been deposed from my status as Homer Simpson wannabe and on my new shock diet, I can have one doughnut a year (after taking a double dose of my cholesterol-lowering medicine for a week before and a week after -- I also have to make an out-of-town trip without my wife's knowledge). So you're goin' with the strawberry icing, huh?
ha ha...stay away from the doughnuts.
I skipped the doughnut myself today.
Myself, I had a great craving this evening for a piece of chocolate pie from Village Inn but I skipped it for several reasons not the least of which is that my weight is up.
They could never match Grandma DuKate's chocolate pie anyway.
Are you referring to the French Silk pie from Village Inn? I love it!! When I was younger, I use to buy the pie for myself and keep it in the fridge.
That's it, Girl. I have to say that it is even better than Grandma DuKates even though hers was really good. I have to drive all the way to Brandon to get it. That is a deterrant to being bad.
